Low-Temperature CO Oxidation over CuO-CeO2/Fe2O3 Catalyst: Effect of KMnO4 Modification

In this paper, the effect of KMnO4 modification on performance CO oxidation over a CuCeOx/Fe2O3 catalyst in industrial flue gas was studied. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), temperature-programmed reduction by H2 (H2-TPR), Fourier transform infrared spectroscope (FTIR), and Raman spectra were employed to reveal relationship between structural properties catalyst. The results show that catalytic activity could be increased modification. modified with 0.07 mol/L exhibited high activity, conversion 78.2% at 160 °C. reduced grain size promoted uniform dispersion active particles. addition, number oxygen-containing functional groups increased, which anchor metal particles provide oxygen species for oxidation.
